On September 3rd, the Sea Island Chapter of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants held its annual business meeting.  As President of the Chapter, Pat presented a check for $3,500 to Erin Hardwick, Executive Director of SCAPA.  SCAPA administers an Education Fund that grants scholarships to South Carolina college students who are going into the accounting profession.  The Sea Island Chapter will now have an endowed scholarship as part of that fund.  The Sea Island Chapter scholarship will be awarded (first priority) to a graduate of a Beaufort County high school, attending a South Carolina college or university.  Second priority will be given to Beaufort County residents attending a South Carolina college or university. 

Pat will remain President of the Chapter next year and Anne will remain Vice President.
